Tonight the winners of the 2015 Raffle were drawn! Congratulations to all of the winners!!
The softball team places 2nd in the MAIS South State Tournament. They will now go on to compete in the MAIS Class AA State Tournament that will take place October 3-5th. Their first game will be against Canton Academy on October 3, 2015 at 11 am at Shiloh Park in Brandon, MS. If you have the time this weekend, please come out and support your Sylva-Bay Saints! This year, Sylva-Bay Academy would like to pay tribute to our troops! Students will be able to wear these shirts to school on September 18th and we ask that everyone wear them to the game on September 18th! Deadline to order the T-shirts is September 9th. All proceeds will go to The Fisher House, which provides military families housing close to their loved ones during hospitalization for illness, disease, or injury.

SBA K3 through 2nd Grade open house will be August 6, 2015, beginning at 6 pm. Please make plans to visit your child's classroom to bring supplies and become acquainted with your child's teacher.
A Retirement Reception will be held to honor Mrs. Glenda's Winn's years of dedicated service to Sylva-Bay Academy families. All current and former students, parents and friends are invited on April 21, beginning at 6:oo pm in the SBA Cafeteria. SBA's Elementary Awards program will begin at 7:00 pm in the gym.
The Athletic Banquet will be held on Friday April 24th. All SBA student athletes will receive a free dinner. All other guests and family members will be $15.00 each. All athletes and guests must sign up to attend in Mrs. Cari's office. The deadline to sign up to attend is Friday April 10th. Please make checks payable to SBA Booster Club.

FAFSA Workshop today at SBA 3:30 - 5:30! Come for assistance in filing your college bound student's Federal paperwork. The FAFSA is required for the Jasper County Tuition Guarantee Program. Senior parents, this is your best opportunity to receive free assistance in filling out this required form!
Today's baseball game against Newton has been rescheduled. The game will be played this Saturday, February 28, beginning at 11:00 with JH. This game will be followed by Varsity at approximately 1:00 pm. These games will be played at SBA.
